What You'll Learn

The Multi-Engine Rating (MEL) is a critical step for any pilot pursuing an airline career. This program teaches you to safely operate aircraft with more than one engine, including the complex systems and procedures unique to multi-engine flight.

Training is conducted in our Piper PA-44 Seminole, the industry-standard multi-engine trainer. You'll learn normal and emergency operations, including the critical skill of handling engine failures.

The course covers asymmetric thrust management, engine-out procedures, Vmc demonstrations, and advanced systems knowledge. Most students complete the rating in 2-4 weeks.
