What You'll Learn

The Instrument Rating (IR) is essential for any pilot pursuing a professional career. This program teaches you to fly safely in instrument meteorological conditions (IMC) using only your aircraft's instruments.

You'll learn advanced navigation techniques, instrument approach procedures, holding patterns, and emergency operations in reduced visibility. Training includes both simulator and actual IMC flight experience.

Our Garmin-equipped Piper aircraft provide the perfect platform for learning modern IFR operations. The course includes 35+ hours of instrument flight training and comprehensive ground instruction.
